Role Summary
In this role, the employee facilitates the installation, operation, monitoring, and maintenance ofcomputer-controlled irrigation and hydraulic systems. They will work regularly with low voltageelectrical components, hydraulic controls, and other electro-mechanical devices (valves, pumps,filters, chemical injectors, etc). The primary region for this work will be in the tri-cities area.

Responsibilities:
In cooperation with the warehouse manager, organize project materials, coordinate delivery to the job site, and manage job site inventory
Communicate job status with supervisor, customer success manager and customers
Keep detailed records of project status, equipment usage, inventory usage
Train customers on the use of automation software and automation systems, including manual overrides, simple troubleshooting, etc.
Install irrigation and other hydraulic controllers including radios, solar panels, antennas, antenna masts, valve solenoids, pump relays, critter guards
Install (trench when necessary) conduit and run wire to interconnect devices
Troubleshoot components and processes and if needed, replace defective hardware and test functionality before leaving a site
Calibrate sensors and ensure water meters, switches and other devices are reporting accurate values
Test valves, pumps and other outputs for proper functionality
Provide remote and on-site support, in rare cases, respond to emergency support calls on Saturday
Provide fast and efficient customer service to end-users
Provide system installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware
Work closely with technical support team to solve technical issues
Report accurate status of all required tasks
Complete regular daily-assigned outdoor field work
Adhere to geographic mobility between multiple locations per day
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a desire to work outdoors and travel frequently
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred
Must be a fast learner, self-motivated and organized
Must have a passion for customer satisfaction
Willing to work with a team
Professional communication skills are essential
Simple electronic knowledge of voltage / current preferred but not required, training will be provided
Mechanical abilities and familiarity with basic hand / power tools required
May be required to lift/move items in excess of 75 lbs.

Bilingual - English/Spanish
Hands-on agricultural experience
