The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Service Technician to support our customers across the Pacific Northwest, primarily in the Yakima and Tri-Cities region of Washington.

This role plays a critical part in delivering hands-on technical support to growers in the field. The Field Service Technician is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and relocation of Phytech systems, while serving as a key liaison between customers and our technical support teams to ensure a seamless experience and high customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, efficient, and professional customer service to growers and end-users

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and relocate field hardware systems

  • Work closely with the Technical Support team to diagnose and resolve technical issues

  • Accurately report the status of all assigned tasks and maintain proper service documentation

  • Complete daily outdoor field work across multiple customer locations

  • Travel locally between grower sites throughout the region

  • Manage assigned tasks while meeting seasonal timelines and operational deadlines

  • Perform additional duties as required


Requirements

  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability to troubleshoot equipment and hardware systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and effective customer interactions

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between customer sites

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 75 lbs

  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods during installations or maintenance

  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust)

  • Ability to safely navigate uneven agricultural terrain

  • Experience operating hand power tools and field equipment

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail

  • Full-time availability to meet operational and seasonal demands


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)

  • Hands-on agricultural or farming experience
