Required Skills and Experience

Product manager in the Ag-Monitoring domain / Israel 


About 80% office (or home office) work including activities such as meetings with market representatives, meetings with development and design teams, work document preparations, product tests and product use cases.

Job Responsibility and Impact

Managing app in Phytech’s Ag-Monitoring department, including the responsibility of features, product improvements, collecting and understanding market needs and requirements. For these purposes, the product manager is in direct contact with the market representative, other product managers at Phytech, and Phytech’s development teams.

  • Reporting to Senior product manager for Ag-Monitoring.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, prioritizing and communicating market needs.

  • Preparing MRDs.

  • Leading the project Gantt and control of project time and quality of progress.

  • Leading the product SCRUM.

  • Preparing PRDs.

  • Involvement in research processes and research prioritization.

  • Involvement in the UX/UI process.

  • Involvement in the development process.

  • Involvement in the QA process.

  • Control of product use parameters.

  • Delivering the product to the markets and to the marketing department.

  • Keeping up to date with competition and status of the market.


Job requirements


  • B.A.\B.Sc. in agricultural science or related academic studies, preferably M.A.\MSc.

  • 2+ years of working experience in the Ag market, preferably related to Ag-technology.

  • A technological/ digital understanding and approach.

  • Good oral and written communicational skills: directing development teams, client meetings, conferences etc.

  • Independent, capable of leading multiple tasks in parallel.

  • Great personal skills, ability to motivate people outside of a hierarchal relation.
