Responsibilities and Duties:

  • In cooperation with the warehouse manager, organize project materials, coordinate delivery to the job site, and manage job site inventory

  • Communicate job status with supervisor, customer success manager and customers

Automation Electrician

Phytech is seeking an Automation Electrician. In this role, the employee facilitates the installation, operation, and maintenance of automation components used in high voltage electrical panels for irrigation systems.  They will work regularly with low voltage and high voltage electrical components, and other electro-mechanical devices (pumps, filters, radios, chemical injectors, valves, etc).  The primary region for this work will be in the California central valley area but jobs may expand to southern California and the Pacific Northwest (Washington / Oregon area).  The employee should live near or be willing to relocate to the Fresno / Tulare California area. This position reports to the Director of Automation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • In cooperation with the warehouse manager, organize project materials, coordinate delivery to the job site, and manage job site inventory

  • Communicate job status with supervisor, customer success manager and customers

  • Keep detailed records of project status, equipment usage, inventory usage

  • Install components necessary to automate pumps including control relays, status relays, low level interrupt switches, drip oil solenoids, fuse blocks, step down transformers, etc.

  • Install irrigation and other hydraulic controllers including radios, solar panels, antennas, antenna masts, valve solenoids, pump relays, critter guards

  • Install (trench when necessary) conduit and run wire to interconnect devices

  • Troubleshoot components and processes and if needed, replace defective hardware and test functionality before leaving a site

  • Calibrate sensors and ensure water meters, switches and other devices are reporting accurate values

  • Test valves, pumps and other outputs for proper functionality

  • Provide remote and on-site support, in rare cases, respond to emergency support calls on the weekend.

Enterprise Sales Development Rep

Summary

This isn't your typical sales development rep (SDR) role. It combines sales and marketing, and follows best account-based marketing (ABM) practices. You are researching AG Industry lists for prospects. You're laser focused at identifying key leads in the ag industry and determining who the decision makers are at the biggest growers in the Western US. You're obsessed with quality leads, not quantity. You have access to high-tech tools (IP sniffers, LinkedIn Sale Navigator, Postal.io) that allow you to target these decision makers, engage them with high-touch ABM gifts, and move them into the hands of our skilled sales team to move opportunities through the pipeline. You don't have to demo. You don't have to close. But you are really good at "using the internet" to navigate our existing customer relationships or prospect lists, and finding an "in" to engage new leads, and engage them. By treating each opportunity individually, you more accurately address your strategic customer lists. You know how to be charming, professional, and engaging via online communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and prioritize key prospect lists

  • Target the largest brands on the list, and develop custom strategies for engaging each lead.

  • Mail gifts and traditional physical marketing collateral. What was once old (snail mail) is new again.

  • Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build information about key prospects.

Marketing Director / US

Marketing Director, US​​

About the role:

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the planning and execution of public relations campaigns, building our brand through outdoor advertising, events, and customer testimonials. They will support the team in research, data analysis, and project management to ensure the success of marketing

initiatives. There will also be some sales operations duties.

 

This position will report to the VP of sales of California, and have a dotted line report to the Marketing Director in Israel. Phytech has a matrixed organizational structure.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Build relationships with relevant print and online publications, and work to get Phytech regular PR placement

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions, including managing a program to put Phytech signs in grower's fields (role does not need to install signs, just manage the project).

  • Help with some sales operations activity, including lead balancing, preparing reports around sales operations, and creating rules of engagement for the sales team.

  • Collect customer testimonials and work with 3rd parties to create professional, short videos featuring influential customers that can be used in social media posts

  • Connect the relevant Phytech subject matter experts to agricultural podcasters

  • Coordinate and plan events, including field days and trade shows

  • Manage and maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

  • Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or Ag related field

  • Background in the Agricultural industry

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role

  • Strong project management skills
